Oh Henry... Oh Easter...

The person(s) who invented this little chocolatey goodness treat, is a God to me. Do you hear that? A GOD.

Awwww Valentines Day...

I was wondering why the house smelt like burning and then realized why. Awww... a little heart shaped cookie made for moi. How dreamy.

Sweet nectar of the Gods.

I spoke of Amon-Ra a while back. The whole line of Ben Glaetzer wines is phenomenal. Incredible. Fantastic. Orgasmic.

The Heartland Shiraz is a cheaper bottle by the Australian winemaker. Way cheaper. Delicious.

You can find it here at Richmond Hill Wines.

A girl can gawk, yah?

Every time I venture east of my little apartment, I ensure my travels include a drive past S2 Bride which is on 12th Avenue.

They always have a spectacularly stunning gown in the front window and I always slow down past the window to take it all in. Big sigh in, big sigh out.

I swear to God I'll cause an accident one day driving past. The gowns are just so gorgeous.

Corteo.

I have never seen anything so visually stunning as the newest story by Cirque du Soleil, Corteo. I was in a constant state of awe, of wondering where to look and just trying not to miss anything. Tickets are between $60 and $125 per seat; I had the $85 seats (Note: If you go for $60, be prepared to have some truss in front of you, if you have the $125 seats, be prepared to sit smack dab in front of the stage. However, if you have the $85 seats, be prepared to see everything) and promises you your full money worth, and then some.

Corteo is a story about the funeral for a clown and all his fantasies and memories. From the minute you find your seat (good luck) you are already in a state of wonder. Being in the Grand Chapiteau is anything than normal - it is extremely intimidating. A show of over 2 and a half hours long, it is packed with over 60 musicians, aerialists, acrobats and jugglers. These people will do things you didn't think people could do.

It's here til September 7, do yourself a favour - go see it.

The reason I wake up in the morning.

Day complete.

It's pretty clear by now that I am a nerd. A nerd who has a super stupid celebrity crush on Peter Mansbridge.

Today, although I didn't physically shake his hand and tell him how super cool he was, I did however make eye contact with him. And, the finishing touch to my brush with celebritydom, once he made eye contact with me he said, "Hi".

That's right. Eye contact and a "Hi". Eat your heart out, Mesley.

I would buy fresh flowers every day if I owned these vases.

ooOOooh...

Randomly surfing DesignSponge this morning, I came across this great little website with some fantastic eclectic jewlery. Case in point - these earrings.

DesignSponge has some seriously cool links to some fun designers and outrageous products. I would love to have the extra cash to be able to purchase these or these or these.

How much fun would it be to drink coffee out of this? I need some boxes to organize my life in... these would be perfect.

Who likes toys?

Guess who just became the newest and greatest Passion Party Consultant?? Nanie would be so proud...

What's that you say? You'd like to secretly order the Bullet for those lonely nights? Or a Gigi or Rabbit? No sweat - I have a website you can do that on.

Things that make my parts tingle.

4. My triple-venti-sugarfree-vanilla-lactaid-light foam-caramel macciato from Starbucks. Sure, it packs about 1200 calories and the fact that I order a mound of caramel to sit ontop of the light foam while I have asked for it to be sugarfree vanilla makes it a little ridiculous - but - it is hella tight.

While we were in Squamish, we of course went to Starbucks. I was expecting a good week without Starbucks (which might have been better on my wallet...) but alas, the eveil-empire has popped up in even the most remote places. After ordering my bevvie, I was alerted to a bottle of caramel which was for sale for only $5.99. Jigga wha?? Without a doubt, it was purchased and now I am able to make my own drinks in the morning with my handy-dandy Barista. It also saves me $13.58 per moring (when you include things like... 2 coffees, and 2 pasteries...)

Anyways... if you're in the mood for some caramel... I have lots to share.

Things that make my parts tingle.

  1. My black Nine West Stilettos and the way they sound when I walk through the concourse.
  2. When the barista at Starbucks remembers my drink without me asking for it.
  3. The way my bed feels first thing in the morning: comfy, cozy and warm.
