Corteo.

I have never seen anything so visually stunning as the newest story by Cirque du Soleil, Corteo. I was in a constant state of awe, of wondering where to look and just trying not to miss anything. Tickets are between $60 and $125 per seat; I had the $85 seats (Note: If you go for $60, be prepared to have some truss in front of you, if you have the $125 seats, be prepared to sit smack dab in front of the stage. However, if you have the $85 seats, be prepared to see everything) and promises you your full money worth, and then some.

Corteo is a story about the funeral for a clown and all his fantasies and memories. From the minute you find your seat (good luck) you are already in a state of wonder. Being in the Grand Chapiteau is anything than normal - it is extremely intimidating. A show of over 2 and a half hours long, it is packed with over 60 musicians, aerialists, acrobats and jugglers. These people will do things you didn't think people could do.

It's here til September 7, do yourself a favour - go see it.
