My new fun find.

How much fun are these cake toppers? Seriously!? I found them on Bakerella's Blog... but you can buy them at Etsy at the Lollipop Workshop. I like the little bride and groom...

Keeping it earthy, elegant and magical. Just have to make sure he agrees...

As of right now, I have decided that I would like a midsummer night's dream themed wedding. Paige, over at Bash Eco Events put together a stunning array of items to compliment this fantasy and ethereal theme.

And no, I'm not engaged but planning for your wedding is like planning your retirement so really - no better time than now to start thinking!

People are random.

This website just solidifies it.

Add this to the loves.

Mike suggested I add this link to my favourite new photogs. And I think that's a great idea.

New love.

I'm completely and totally enamoured with great wedding photographers lately. Can't get enough of them. I think I'd secretly love to be a great photographer, however, I have zero idea what 99% of the buttons on my camera do.

So.

Until I learn how to use the darn thing, I'm stuck just looking through portfolios of other great picture-takers.

A couple of them:

JKoe Photography (a personal friend as well)
Kyle Hale (super favourite and author of the above photo)

What does Jaipur smell like? Happiness.

While Mom and I were traveling through out Oregon, we found this great little garden store that sold these wonder little candles. I have fallen in love with these. I can't get enough of them. It's too bad they're so expensive because I could really use some more of them...

Not for everyone.

No, really. But wow.

Wordle.

Thanks to Mike at Mikes Bloggity Blog, I have found this delightful little site that makes a super clusterfuck of all my words.

People often wonder what's going on in my head and wow - one little website has done the job for me.

Note - if you want to see a bigger picture, click on the pict and voila - you'll see it all.

How long could you survive in the vacuum of space?

Much time on my hands?

How long could you survive in the vacuum of space?

In the first 30 seconds any fluid on the surface of your body would begin to boil due to lack of ambient pressure, this includes the saliva on your tongue and the moisture in your eyes. Your eardrums would most likely burst due to the pressure in your body trying to equalize with the vacuum outside. Unlike what some science fiction films have suggested, your body would not explode.

After the first 15 seconds you would lose consciousness. If you held your breath you could potentially stay alive longer but you risk pulmonary trauma. If you didn't hold your breath you'd pass out sooner, but your lungs might have a better chance of avoiding permanent damage.

The pressure in your veins would rise until your heart no longer had the capacity to pump blood, at which point you'd die.

Editors Note - sounds pleasant...

Bon Iver.

If you close your eyes, Bon Iver will take you to a new place.

Update: He's like an oddly hot mountain man.

Raptured.

I never thought of wallets as sexy... especially not man-wallets. But my friend, Connor, has actually designed the first sexy wallet.

He's the lead wallet designer and founder of the Calgary company Braithwaite Wallets. Nicely done, Connor.

They're a little pricey - sititng in at $125, but you can tell a lot of time and effort has been put into them.

The Ting Tings.

Check out their single and my favourite new song, Great DJ.

I would buy fresh flowers every day if I owned these vases.

ooOOooh...

Randomly surfing DesignSponge this morning, I came across this great little website with some fantastic eclectic jewlery. Case in point - these earrings.

DesignSponge has some seriously cool links to some fun designers and outrageous products. I would love to have the extra cash to be able to purchase these or these or these.

How much fun would it be to drink coffee out of this? I need some boxes to organize my life in... these would be perfect.

This item would go on the "con" list of having babies...

Seriously - for your 7-year old kid to say to a stranger "I'm gonna fuck you in your parts one day"... what does that say about the parents?? This clip will want to make you overdose on birth control...

If you're looking for your Grande Non-fat Latte today...

... you might be waiting a while.

Starbucks is closing all of its 7,100 stores today to give all baristas a lesson in how to better the customer experience. They'll learn how to pull a better shot, how to make your drink quicker and how to make bigger tips. Ok, so the last one was a lie - but seriously. It's a freakin' coffee.

For the 3 hours the 'bucks is closed, visit Timmy's for your large double-double. What makes that so great? Duh - it's Roll-Up-The-Rim time.

How would you like to be remembered?

If you have a minute, or four, a box of tissues and an open mind - I suggest you check this out.
